Programming
As a PTA, we provide enrichment programming that supports the Edgemont Elementary curriculum. We strive to meaningfully design our programming with an awareness toward diversity, inclusion and social-emotional learning. The three main categories of Edgemont Elementary PTA programming are Cultural Arts, STEAM and Whole Child.
Cultural Arts
Cultural Arts offers meaningful programs that provide multiple and diverse perspectives on a wide range of curriculum, including Social Studies, Literacy and the Arts.
STEAM
Our objective is to create a deliberate pathway for students through the STEAM content area, using the curriculum as the foundation for three paths: Natural Sciences, Mechanical Sciences and Technology.
Whole Child
We strive to support social emotional learning and highlight specific CASEL & Harmony goals, including Self Management, Social Awareness and Learning Differences.
